Jellyfish, fluid, graceful, art in motion. The Northern California coastal waters are full of sea life including migrating schools of jellyfish. The farallon islands are stage to the ballet of thousands of migrating jellyfish.
Most of these jelly photographs were taken in lit aquiriums.

A restaurant in San Francisco called "farallons" has huge lions mane jellyfish lights hanging from the ceiling. Avant guarde restaurants in the Los Vegas Bellagio have artistic jellyfish aquirium water features as part of the interior design. Jellyfish have inspired glass blowers such as Dale Chihuly with his seaforms and blown glass cielings, bowls and other pieces.

For me personally, photographs of jellyfish inspirational in their free form grace. When ever I have the opportunity to observe schools of lions mane jellyfish out to sea it is like a wonderful ballet with rythm and graceful movements. Moon jellies are much more common in these waters.
